John Krasinski has shared a touching revelation about his kids in the lead up to his new film IF.
The Office star, who shares two daughters with wife Emily Blunt, has expressed his excitement about the upcoming film and the fact that his children will be able to enjoy it.
“I’ve always wanted to do a movie for my kids,” he told Hello during the film’s London Premiere.

“And this one, I was just watching them in their playroom, disappearing into this magical world that parents aren’t allowed to go to. And I just thought that it would be an amazing movie to make. It’s about their world.”
The film stars Krasinksi alongside Cailey Fleming and Ryan Reynolds and follows the story of a young girl who, after going through a difficult experience, learns she can see everyone’s imaginary friends, known as IFs, who have been left behind after their creators became adults.
Krasinski, who recently directed and starred in the horror films A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place II alongside Blunt, is thrilled to share his new work with his kids.

“I needed to show my kids that I do something, because they couldn’t watch A Quiet Place,” Krasinski said.
When his kids do watch it, it is sure to be a whole family affair with Blunt also making a cameo in the children’s film playing the voice of Unicorn.
Other high profile actors including Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Awkwafina have leant their voices to the new film which arrives in cinemas on May 16.

Krasinski and Blunt have been a much-loved Hollywood couple for years, having originally met at a Los Angeles restaurant in 2008.
Two years later, they were married and welcomed their first child Hazel Grace in 2014. They welcomed their second daughter Violet in 2016.
Of their relationship Krasinksi has revealed that he was lucky to have met her.
“It’s really that we just got lucky,” he told People, “It’s one of those things, I’m having more fun now than the day I met her, and it’s pretty wild.”
