While the holiday season is fast approaching, Kailyn Lowry isn’t gearing up to celebrate.
“I actually don’t do holidays,” Lowry, 32, told E! News in an interview published on Tuesday, November 19. “All my kids go to their dads, and they have big families over there and they love their kids. I’m happy to send them to their dads for the holidays.”
The 16 & Pregnant star is mom to seven kids: son Issac, whom she welcomed in 2010 with Jo Rivera; son Lincoln, whom she welcomed in 2013 with Javi Marroquin; sons Lux and Creed, whom she welcomed in 2017 and 2020, respectively, with Chris Lopez. She also shares son Rio, who was born in 2022, and twins Verse and Valley, who arrived in January, with fiancé Elijah Scott.
Lowry, who began dating Scott in 2022, exclusively explained to Us Weekly earlier this year how their relationship has differed from her previous romances.

“I think in the past — like maybe with Lux and Creed’s dad — I brought baggage from the other relationships into that one. For this one, everything is so separate. I really try not to involve Elijah in anything that he doesn’t need to be involved in,” Lowry told Us in August. “We’re not worried or arguing or talking about things that are not gonna directly impact our relationship. … We coparent where we need to coparent, I coparent where I need to coparent, and I let him know what he needs to know, but he doesn’t need to know everything.”
While she continues to navigate her coparenting dynamics with her former partners, Lowry said Scott joined “seamlessly” into her eldest kids’ lives.

“My kids love him, which is so — I just have never really seen that,” Lowry told Us. “Isaac and Elijah are best friends. If Elijah is not at a game for Lincoln, Lincoln’s like, ‘Where is Elijah?’ Not even looking for me, looking for him. And then Lux and Creed love him because they just jump all over him. They think he’s, like, the cool dad. Maybe not their dad, but the cool dad.”
Lowry noted that Scott is “so cool, calm and collected” all the time. “I’ve never experienced that in my entire life,” she told Us. “He’s an angel on this earth, and I don’t know what I did to deserve him. [He’s like], ‘Nothing is too big of a problem, we’re gonna figure it out.’ And that’s really different for me.”
