Avengers: Doomsday is already being hit by the spoiler wave! Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star Kathryn Newton has seemingly revealed a shocking surprise.
It’s clear that Avengers: Doomsday is taking its casting surprises very seriously. Unlike prior installments of the franchise, many of the big moments in the film seem wrapped around who will and won’t appear. That’s likely why Marvel Studios did the big chair reveal. Not only to build hype, but to stop people from asking questions about who’s in the cast.
And, surprisingly, it seems as though the studio has trained their cast a lot better this time around. There haven’t been any major slips when it comes to actors revealing that their character will return in Avengers: Doomsday. The closest fans have gotten is Jeremy Renner posting a poster for the film, something that’s far from a confirmation.
Is Kathryn Newton In Avengers: Doomsday?
It seems the first slip up has come from a newer addition to Marvel’s repertoire of actors: Kathryn Newton. The actress recently posted a photo of herself in an Avengers: Doomsday cast and crew hat. This image seemingly confirms that her character, Cassie Lang, will return to the movie alongside her father, Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd.

Of course, this turn of events it’s too shocking to those who have been keeping up withAvengers: Doomsday. While Kathryn Newton hasn’t explicitly been confirmed to return, the Young Avengers have been rumored to play a relatively minor role in the story. Given that Cassie Lang is set up to be a founding member of the team, it would only make sense that Newton would reprise her part.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters in December 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
