Keith Urban isn’t picky — a buck is a buck!
Months after his divorce from Nicole Kidman was finalized, The Fighter singer is reportedly reeling financially. And so he’s taken his talents to the high seas to earn a pretty penny! On Monday, New Idea reported Keith boarded the Top Shelf Country Cruise, which set sail from Florida to the Bahamas between February 27th and March 6th, to provide entertainment for guests.
Whoa, really?! A cruise ship singer?!
A source told the outlet:
“Cruise ships are not exactly the dream gig, but they pay the bills — and it gives Keith something to focus on.”
We guess rent is due whether he likes it or not! So more power to him!

The source did, however, note what a step in a different direction the gig was for Keith:
“It’s the kind of gig that Keith would have turned his nose up at during his marriage to Nicole Kidman. He’s trying to stay busy now that his divorce is finalized.”
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Keith’s bank account clocks in somewhere around the $75 million mark, while Nicole’s is nearly three and a half times larger at $250 million. So any costly divorce bill surely were more of a blow to him that his ex-wife — that’s, at least, what his friends think, according to the outlet:
“When there’s that much money involved in a split, the lawyers don’t come cheap, regardless of the outcome.”
So, smaller jobs “help to keep his cash flow steady.” But looking forward to the second half of 2026, Keith reportedly has “exciting plans.”
“He has every intention of ending 2026 the exact opposite of how it started – on a total high.”
Yeah, we’ll see if that’s on the high seas still…
