A lot of you seem to be really enjoying Kirby Air Riders and the game certainly isn’t short of content. Masahiro Sakurai and the team have stated that they plan to hold various in-game events, but the latest which is titled Race to the Finish, has been postponed as a bug was discovered by the development team. Because of this the event has been canceled, but once the issue is resolved it will be rescheduled. Here’s a rough translation of the message:
“There is currently an issue occurring in the ongoing event “Settle It with a Race! City Trial” where, after participating, the race-specific rules are being carried over to regular City Trial sessions as well. For this reason, we have decided to cancel this event. Additionally, we have confirmed that attempting to engage in online play while the race-specific rules are carried over results in an error that prevents City Trial from starting. These issues can be resolved by restarting the software. For customers who have participated in the event, we kindly ask for your understanding and request that you restart the software. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please note that we plan to hold the event again where this reward can be obtained. We will inform you again once the details are finalized.”
