“Everything she does in the operating room, she learned from me.” Disney+ Korea has unveiled an official trailer for a new medical thriller series titled Hyper Knife, arriving for streaming this week right away. This Korean series features a disgraced neurosurgeon performing illegal surgeries while confronting her dark past. Directed by Kim Jung-hyun, this medical thriller series centers on Seok, a genius neurosurgeon. She is reunited with Dr. Choi Deok-hee, the professor who ruined her life long ago. Now with nothing but hatred toward each other, Seok is furious that he is back in her life and she vows to take revenge. A battle of power and control unfolds as she pushes ethical boundaries all in pursuit of medical breakthroughs. Park Eun-bin stars as Jung Se-ok, next to Sul Kyung-gu as Choi Deok-hee, plus Yoon Chan-young and Park Byung-eun. All eight episodes of this series will be available for streaming on Hulu in the US starting on March 19th. Easy to watch at home. This joins the ranks of so many new medical series recently – The Pitt on Max, Pulse on Netflix, Berlin ER on Apple. And this looks damn good! Seriously tense rivalry thriller vibes.

Disney+ series Hyper Knife follows Dr. Jung Se-ok (Park Eun-bin), a brilliant but disgraced neurosurgeon haunted by a past tragedy. Stripped of her medical license, she resorts to performing illegal surgeries in the shadows, driven by an insatiable thirst for pushing the boundaries of neuroscience. But when her path crosses with her former mentor, the renowned but enigmatic Dr. Choi Deok-hee (Sul Kyung-gu), old wounds are reopened and a dangerous game of power and revenge ensues. As Se-ok delves deeper into groundbreaking yet ethically questionable procedures, she grapples with the moral consequences of her actions, blurring the lines between medical necessity and personal ambition. Hyper Knife, also known as 하이퍼나이프 in Korean, is a series created and written by Kim Sun-hee. It’s directed by the Korean filmmaker Kim Jung-hyun, also of the TV series “At A Distance, Spring Is Green”, “Crazy Love”, “The Fabulous”, and “Nineteen to Twenty”.
