Krippendorf's Tribe – "a 1998 American comedy film about a widowed anthropologist who fakes the discovery of a lost New Guinea tribe using his own children to cover up spent grant money. Staring Richard Dreyfuss, Jenna Elfman, Natasha Lyonne, and Lily Tomlin." Does anyone remember this movie? I definitely watched this multiple times when I was a kid. It has the subterfuge of Mrs Doubtfire (there's even a scene where Richard Dryfuss's character has to attend an event as two people, so he does a costume change multiple times).
