Brooklyn Ross has revealed who’s set to replace Abbie Chatfield as fill-in host for the breakfast slot on KIIS FM.
Sharing a fun video with followers on Instagram this week, the newsreader, who worked on The Kyle and Jackie O Show before it was pulled off air, revealed their producer Mayo will take the reins with Mike E for the interim.
Mayo, whose real name is Jaimee Blazquez, appears in the clip and shares her excitement at going back on air, this time in a different role.
“We’ve had Georgie Tunny, Abbie Chatfield, they are very big shoes to fill… Mayo, you’re on the show!” Ross says as he visits her house.
”I think he’s great, I think he says some cringe things at times that I will be addressing,” she jokingly said about Mike E.
Ross revealed that Mayo is coming back on Monday morning.

It comes amid Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O’s respective legal battles against ARN.
The stars are both suing their former employer for wrongful termination.
Shockjock Sandilands is suing for $85 million over his $100 million contract, while Jackie filed an $82.25 million lawsuit against ARN.
More recently, Sandilands teased a “new project” amid his legal battle, with many suspecting a podcast could be in the works.

Sandilands’ contract was terminated following a now infamous on-air clash with Jackie O on February 20, after she read from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s astrology birth chart.
He has consistently denied breaching the terms of his contract.
Sandilands released a statement announcing his termination from ARN.
“ARN has just announced that they’ve terminated my contract. I don’t accept it. My lawyers told them last week this would be invalid. And guess what? It is,” he claimed in part.
”Ms Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she ‘cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands’,” ARN said in a statement previously about Henderson.
“Accordingly, ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Ms Henderson presents the Kyle and Jackie O show.
“Ms Henderson will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show.

“ARN has also offered to Ms Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network,” it added in part.
Henderson, 51, broke her silence in a statement claiming she “did not quit or resign” from The Kyle and Jackie O Show after the program was pulled from the KIIS FM airwaves by ARN.
ARN Media disputes Henderson and Sandilands’ claims and will defend against the suit in court. ARN is also counter-suing the duo.
