Kyle Richards and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky surprised their 16-year-old daughter Portia with a Porsche – as fans slammed the co-parents for giving their “teenager” a luxury vehicle when “the world is on fire.”
On the latest season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle and Mauricio told their daughters on camera that they were separating. At the time, many fans were bothered by their decision to film it.
In a TikTok shared by their other daughter Sophia, Kyle and Mauricio lead Portia out of the house for the big surprise.
“Whose car is that?” asks Mauricio as he opens the front door of the house.
“Is that — are you kidding me?” says a wide-eyed Portia before covering her mouth, and Kyle starts laughing.
“Portia’s new Porsche,” says another woman as she hands the 16-year-old the keys. Portia then cries as both parents embrace her.

“I love that even though they are rich and have had everything their entire lives they are still so grateful and kind ladies! Bravo parents!!!!!” wrote one person.

However, a few fans were caught off-guard.
“Imagine if they gifted her a Honda with 100k miles on it?” asked one viewer in the comments of the video, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “Most parents could not do even that and it would be a good lesson in humility.”
“The lack of awareness is unbelievable. People are suffering and they have to post giving their daughter a Porsche. Does everything have to be on the internet?” asked a different user.
