Put together to sleep peacefully this weekend, as a result of TVLine has cracked the La Brea thriller that has induced many a stressed night time.
If you’re not accustomed to my intrepid chronicling of the comfy shearling coat that Eve Harris fairly rapidly acquired in Season 1 after touchdown in 10,000 B.C. (tl;dr Natalie Zea was very chilly in Australia), the gist of the newest head-scratcher is that this:
Within the fifth episode of Season 2, Eve, Gavin, Izzy and Sam KO’d some Exile guards contained in the mine, then become the goons’ medieval-y, hooded uniforms — seemingly leaving their go-to outerwear behind.
And but within the following episode, as Eve, Izzy and Sam watched an unconscious Gavin get dragged by Lazarus guards into the shiny tower, Eve casually reached right down to seize and slip again on her trademark shearling. And but, nobody — repeat, nobody — had had alternative to return to the mines and gather everybody’s discarded garb.
However as La Brea showrunner David Appelbaum confirmed for TVLine, that’s as a result of… nobody wanted to!
“That was one thing that we talked lots about — how can we get again their clothes?” after Eve & Co. become the guards’ uniforms, Appelbaum stated.
The reply: Simply have them deliver it with them.

“You may discover that after they depart the Exile camp, they’ve a bag with them. That’s the place all their clothes was,” Appelbaum defined. (See screenshot above.) As they then headed to Lazarus with a cart stuffed with black rock, “It was behind the wagon. And in Episode 6, once you had Levi and Scott watching the assault by the constructing, in our minds they’d the bag with them at that time, so they may get the garments later.”
The subsequent thriller to sort out: Why Eve wore the nice and cozy shearling while visiting Los Angeles circa 1988.
