Lala Kent has responded to David Arquette‘s claims about her being rude on set — and despite fans’ predictions, she was actually totally chill about it!
If you missed it, the Scream star appeared on Sunday’s Watch What Happens Live episode and was asked about the Vanderpump Rules star. They worked together on the 2020 film Spree, and while they didn’t have any scenes together, David didn’t have anything nice to say, dishing:
“I didn’t really have any scenes with her. So, I mean, we’ve met a couple times at like the screening and stuff. [She was] not the friendliest to me. I don’t know. Gave me a little attitude. I felt a little attitude. I wasn’t trying to give attitude. I was like, ah, why am I getting attitude?”
She was still linked to film producer Randall Emmett at the time, so some fans speculated the 33-year-old might’ve thought she was better than everyone else when she crossed paths with David — but it turns out they just had a simple miscommunication!

The Bravo personality took to her Instagram Story with a heartfelt apology for the beloved actor, writing:
“[David Arquette], I apologize if I was not friendly to you on the set of Spree. I’d like to point out [that] I was on set with many people, you being one of them, who are all well-known, established actors. I am a girl on reality TV. I felt intimidated and a bit like I did not belong, all while being incredibly grateful for the opportunity.”
The horror-comedy also starred Joe Keery, Mischa Barton, Frankie Grande, and Sasheer Zamata. So, yeah, it was a big cast! Still wouldn’t give her the right to be rude — but she wants everyone to that’s not what happened. At least not intentionally. The soon-to-be mother of two concluded:
“I’m sorry if that came off as an attitude. It was not my intent.”

What a mature response from her! Not exactly what we were expecting. LOLz!
BTW, the Never Been Kissed alum already responded — and he had no hard feelings for the Give Them Lala podcaster. He reposted her apology, replying:
“Thank you Lala. I got caught up in the gossip nature of the Clubhouse. I’m also a ball of nerves in general, and could have [taken] the whole exchange out of context.”
He also shared a news headline of him calling Lala “not the friendliest,” captioning it:
“She apologized and I apologized back. I took her nervousness personally.”
And just so everyone was crystal clear where they stood, he finished:
“Again, sorry for the drama. […] I got caught up in the drama of the [WWHL] Clubhouse. Sorry.”
Two apologies and no shadiness whatsoever?? Love to see a celeb feud end so easily! That NEVER happens!
