Lana del Rey shared the details on her dream partner weeks before her secret wedding to alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene.
The Video Games singer opened up in an interview with Vogue Italia, sharing that she wants to be with someone who believes “love is enough,” rather than someone who’s interested in her Hollywood status.
“I want my whole life, and everything I sing, to be the positive result of something,” Rey shared.
“I believe in magic because, to me, it means being optimistic, having hope, and being able to share it.”

The singer went on to share that she believes that “hope is power,” explaining that over the years, its helped her come to realise what she needs in a relationship.
“Most of the people I met wanted Hollywood to be the third part in our relationship,” she told the publication.

“When I get married, it’ll be to someone who, like me, believes that love is enough. I’ll be enough for him, and he’ll be enough for me.

“Someone to have children with if that happens, or just friends. I want it to be simple, I need to be with someone who wants to plan to stay home with me. Love is to be saved and that’s magic.”
Rey was reported to have married boyfriend Dufrene in a private ceremony in Louisiana on Thursday, September 26.
She broke her silence on her relationship just days after the wedding in the comments section of a fan account’s post, confirming the news and calling out a local couple for “invading” her and Dufrene’s privacy.

”Unfortunately, a local couple from Houma won’t stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker,” she wrote.
Rey requested the couple respect her privacy, adding that it would make her and Dufrene “feel a lot safer.”
“All that being said Jeremy is the one and only,” she added. “And amazing. And we’re very happy.”
