Larsa Pippen Admits She and Boyfriend Jeff Coby Are Talking Engagement Rings, Shades Lisa and Jody

Larsa Pippen addressed her relationship and future with boyfriend Jeff Coby, hinted at how he’s different from ex Marcus Jordan, and shaded Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden.

On the new season of Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa was furious with Lisa for allowing her boyfriend Jody to hang out with Marcus, who spoke negatively about Larsa after the split. Her anger turned into a full-on feud, which is still alive and well. Earlier this year, Larsa began dating Jeff, who plays basketball professionally.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Larsa, 51, addressed her relationship with Jeff, 31.

“The other day, I FaceTimed him when he was at his parents’ house and he was teaching his niece how to multiply, and I thought, ‘That is so sweet,’” said the star. “That’s why this is my guy, because he’s just so family-oriented and just so kind, and I just feel like he’s my guy. He just has all the qualities that I really love.”

Though she felt good about her relationship with Jeff since the beginning, she wanted to keep it “private” and “quiet” after her “very public” breakup with Marcus Jordan.

“I didn’t want to share it with the world, but now I’m in a place where we get along really well, we basically do everything together, and so now we’re more open,” Larsa shared. “But I think the first few months, I feel like we were together every day and just did very normal things, and nobody even knew that we were together.”

She said they’ve discussed getting engaged — and her dream ring.

“I feel like we’re on a really good path right now,” she said. “We get along with everything. He’s been asking me what shaped stones I like, so I’ve been giving him little hints … We haven’t really talked about [how] I like the brilliant cut or an oval … I feel like those are really cute.”

Larsa claimed that Jeff’s dynamic with her children is important because the kids weren’t fond of her ex.

“[My kids and Jeff] have the best relationship,” said Larsa. “They play board games. They love to hang out. They talk basketball.”

“We talk to my son, Scotty [Jr.], after every game, and we go through what happened during the game,” the star went on, referring to her son’s team, the Memphis Grizzlies. “I feel like [Coby is] very normal, and him around my family is just an easy place for us.”

She then praised Jeff while simultaneously throwing shade at Lisa and Jody, alluding to Jody hanging out with Marcus.

“I feel like it’s a man’s job to make you and your friends feel safe if they’re not in a great relationship or whatnot,” she said. “I just feel like I’m not used to having friends like Lisa or her relationship with her boyfriend. I don’t know. Because I’m dating Jeff, and if one of my friends was to break up, he would never be like, ‘Oh, I want to hang out with this guy that’s bashing her.’ He’d be like, ‘No, let’s go to dinner. Let me make sure that I take care of you, and I make sure that you feel good.’”

Recently, Larsa celebrated her 51st birthday with Jeff and friends at an elegant restaurant.
