One Direction have made a touching gesture in memory of their late bandmate who tragically passed away last year.
The band have decided to re-release their 2013 documentary This Is Us for a one-night only screening in in memory of Liam Payne.
The screening is taking place at Odeon Cinemas in the United Kingdom, with all profits set to be donated to mental health awareness charities.

“By popular demand, and in tribute to the late Liam Payne, we’re bringing One Direction: This is Us back to the big screen January 14,” Odeon announced on social media.
“We’ll be donating all ticket profits from this screening to the mental health awareness charities MIND, SAMH and AWARE NI.”
Odeon also revealed that the profits will be donated by a percentage split across the three charities with “89 per cent of the final total going to MIND, 10 per cent to SAMH and one per cent to AWARE NI”.

The screening is taking place in cinemas across the UK.
The feature film, according to Odeon’s description of the film, is “an intimate all-access look at life on the road for the global music phenomenon. Weaved with stunning live concert footage”.
It “tells the remarkable story of Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis’ meteoric rise to fame from their humble hometown beginnings and competing on the X-Factor, to conquering the world and performing London’s famed O2 Arena”.
The moves comes as a tribute to Payne who tragically died after falling from the third floor of his hotel room in Buenos Aires.

His death sent shockwaves through the globe with countless One Direction fans mourning his death along with those close to him.
In a statement following his death, Payne’s bandmates paid tribute to him.
“We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing,” the statement obtained by the BBC began.

“In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly,” the statement continued.
“The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us.
“We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam.”
