Loki season 2 is set to introduce Academy Award Winner Ke Huy Quan into the MCU. A new image teases the repairman’s role at the TVA.
Fans were shocked when it was announced that Ke Huy Quan would be joining the supporting cast of Loki season 2. Having started his career as Shortround in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Quan recently returned to Hollywood as Waymond Wang in Everything Everywhere All At Once, a role for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Quan is now set to join the MCU as O.B., a repair guy working for the TVA. A new image featuring his character can be seen below.
Outside of being a repairman for the TVA, details about Ke Huy Quan’s O.B. have been kept close to the chest. It’s unclear what role he’ll play in Loki season 2 or how he may factor into the broader MCU. Though he is described as the person who created or maintains every piece of technology in the organization, it’s likely O.B. will play a key role in discovering the mystery behind Victor Timely’s inventions.
Tom Hiddleston is spearheading the cast of Loki season two as the titular God of Mischief. The cast also includes Owen Wilson, Jonathan Majors, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Tara Strong, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Ke Huy Quan and Neil Ellice.
Eric Martin replaced Michael Waldron as the head writer of Loki for its second season. Martin and Waldron also serve as executive producers on the series alongside Tom Hiddleston, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Benson and Moorhead directed the majority of the episodes for the upcoming season.
Loki season two is expected to premiere next Summer on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
