Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce have made it official. The pair shared their engagement news in a joint Instagram post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married”… basically breaking the Internet!
The post featured a series of romantic photos — from Kelce proposing on bended knee, to the couple embraced amid a floral-laden trellis — and already reached millions of people as of press time.

According to Kelce’s father Ed, Travis actually popped the question about two weeks prior to the public announcement at a private garden in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, choosing an intimate moment over a grand spectacle.
As for the bling, Kelce collaborated with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry to create a breathtaking Old Mine brilliant-cut diamond ring.
Swift and Kelce are frequently hailed as a “supercouple” or even America’s Royal Couple, combining Swift’s pop superstardom and Kelce’s superbowl championships. One thing is for sure, this will definitely be the most anticipated wedding since the last British nuptials.
Swift recently previewed her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Kelce’s podcast New Heights. The album is slated for release on October 3, a date echoing her favorite number: 13. With the NFL season just around the corner, there’s even more excitement about seeing Swift in the stands…now as the future Mrs. Kelce.
