Hollywood was buzzing last night as the filmmakers and star-studded voice cast of Disney and Pixar’s highly anticipated animated comedy adventure “Hoppers” took over the El Capitan Theatre for the film’s electrifying world premiere.
The event brought together an impressive roster of talent, including voice actors Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Dave Franco, Eduardo Franco, and Vanessa Bayer, alongside director Daniel Chong, producer Nicole Paradis Grindle, executive producers Pete Docter and Peter Sohn, composer Mark Mothersbaugh, and music sensation SZA, who contributed the original song “Save The Day.”
Additional cast and crew in attendance included Aparna Nancherla, Sam Richardson, Tom Law, Steve Purcell, Nichole Sakura, Karen Huie, Lila Liu, Eman Abdul-Razzak, Joe Spano, Eric Edelstein, Demetri Martin, Kiri Hart, Jesse Andrews, Rob Bisel, and Dr. Emily Fairfax, a consultant and beaver expert.
In Hoppers, animal enthusiast Mabel (Curda) discovers a revolutionary new technology that allows her to “hop” her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver, opening a window into the secret lives of animals. Alongside charismatic beaver King George (Moynihan), Mabel must unite the animal kingdom to thwart a looming threat posed by the smooth-talking Mayor Jerry Generazzo (Hamm). The adventure-filled ensemble also features performances by Kathy Najimy, Dave Franco, and the legendary Meryl Streep.

Directed by Daniel Chong and produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle, with a vibrant score from Mark Mothersbaugh, Hoppers promises a mix of heart, humor, and imagination. The film opens exclusively in theaters on March 6th.
With its all-star voice cast, inventive story, and signature Pixar charm, Hoppers is poised to become a standout family-friendly hit and a highlight of the 2026 spring film season.
