Colombian rapper Maluma has singled out one of his fans at a recent concert– but unfortunately for the fan, it wasn’t for a good reason.
The singer, 31, stopped his concert in Mexico City over the weekend to talk to a fan who brought her baby, asking how old the child was.
When the mother answered that her child was one year old, the star reportedly said into the microphone, “Do you think it’s a good idea to bring a one-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are this f–-king high?”

“That baby doesn’t even know what it’s doing here.”
He added, ”Next time, protect their ears or something. For real. It’s heavy. It’s your responsibility.”
Maluma, who himself is a father to a one-year-old daughter named Paris who he shares with his girlfriend Susana Gómez, said it’s something he would never do.

“You’re waving them around like they’re a toy,” he said, “That baby doesn’t want to be there, for real.
“I’m telling you with all love and respect, now that I’m a father… would never bring them to a concert. For the next time, be a bit more aware.”
The crowd cheered after his speech, with many agreeing with him as he walked away.

The singer is wrapping up his +Pretty +Dirty World Tour in Rosarito, Mexico this Sunday.
He’s not the only to star to have stopped a concert recently, with Katy Perry recently doing the same, albeit for a very different reason.
During her Lifetimes show in Detroit, Michigan last week, the 40-year-old invited a number of fans from the audience to join her on stage to sing The One That Got Away.

“You got this, let’s breathe, let’s breathe,” Perry encouraged McKenna as she attempted to compose herself.
But then the young fan collapsed, with Perry instantly kneeling down by her side and stopping the show, in a moment captured in a TikTok video.
The crowd gasped in shock as Perry and the other fans on-stage tended to McKenna while medics rushed onstage to help.
