Manga Mirai, the digital manga platform launched earlier this year by NTT DOCOMO in collaboration with MyAnimeList, Akatsuki Group, and MEDIA DO, made a splash at Anime NYC 2025, following a successful debut at Anime Expo. The platform’s visually dynamic booth drew thousands of attendees eager to explore its digital manga library through interactive demos, exclusive giveaways, and special campaigns designed to grow its global fanbase.
Fans lined up throughout the weekend to try the platform on-site via tablet demos, flip through printed manga volumes, and test their luck at a gacha machine stocked with limited-edition prizes. Hundreds of attendees created one-of-a-kind souvenirs at the custom can badge station, while the manga-themed photo area became a hotspot for cosplayers and social media creators, generating buzz across the internet.
