EXCLUSIVE: Corey Marsh has been promoted to President of TV at Wonderland Sound and Vision, the television and film production banner founded by McG and run by his longtime partner and President of Production, Mary Viola.
Marsh, elevated from his role as EVP of the prodco, has been behind numerous successes in both television and film over his six years at Wonderland. He developed and executive produced Not Dead Yet for ABC, Average Joe for BET+, and True Lies for CBS – all of which received series orders – in addition to overseeing last year’s Anthony Anderson-led pilot Public Defenders for ABC.
On the film side, Marsh developed and produced the hit Netflix movie Tall Girl and sequel Tall Girl 2. He also served as executive producer on Netflix’s Rim of the World and The Babysitter 2.
Prior to joining Wonderland, Marsh worked at The Walt Disney Company where he shepherded the billion-dollar Descendants franchise. There, he also developed hit series, including his passion project, Girl Meets World, the spinoff of ‘90s ABC hit sitcom Boy Meets World.
Marsh started his career as a writers’ assistant on shows such as Will & Grace, In Plain Sight, and Starter Wife. Prior to his work at Disney, he served as director of development at Prospect Park, where he helped start the TV division and worked on Wilfred for FX and Royal Pains for USA.
