Michael B. Jordan isn’t done with the MCU just yet! A new rumor suggests that the actor is eyeing a return in one of the next Avengers films.

From his surprising return in Wakanda Forever to his role as one of the big bads in What If…?, the actor can’t help but make waves in the Marvel Universe. Yet after nearly conquering the multiverse, he seems to finally be setting his sights on the Avengers franchise.
According to a new rumor from Alex Perez at The Cosmic Circus, Michael B. Jordan is gearing up for a return to the MCU in one of the upcoming Avengers films. It was not specified which project that the actor will be appearing in, be it Doomsday or Secret Wars, nor was it stated which character he would play in whichever film he does make a cameo in.
Who Will Michael B. Jordan Play In Avengers?
The obvious role for Michael B. Jordan to play in the mystery Avengers film would be Erik Killmonger. However, even that doesn’t reveal much. It’s possible makes his return in the form of his iconic villain from the MCU’s Sacred Timeline. Though given how cosmic the films are set to be, it’s possible he appears as the Infinity Gauntlet-empowered version of the character seen in What If…? season 1.
Then again, Michael B. Jordan’s role could be coming from outside of the MCU. The actor did previously play the Human Torch in the disastrous Fant4stic. Having him return to that character could be a surprise to casual fans, as well as a treat for those that stuck with the franchise even through its toughest moments. Though given how big the Avengers projects are set to be, it’s possible he could appear as both.
