While Reneé is scheduled to appear in Season 3, she will reportedly only be in a handful of episodes and will not be considered a series regular.
“I wouldn’t be half the person I am without her and y’all. I love that bitch more than you know,” Reneé wrote in her announcement.
And while Reneé is excited to move on, it turns out Mindy, who created the series, is excited for her, too.
On her Instagram story, Mindy shared her thoughts about Reneé’s upcoming departure from the show.
“We love @reneerapp so much and of course will be so sad to say goodbye Leighton Murray!” Mindy wrote.
She added, “But we can’t wait to see our friend on tour!!”
Reneé will soon be switching focus to her music career and embarking on her Snow Hard Feelings tour, which is set to kick off in September.
Sounds like Mindy will definitely be supporting her from the crowd when the tour hits LA!
