A lot of DC fans seem to have enjoyed the delightful and refreshing animated series My Adventures With Superman. If you had fun watching the first season, it sounds like Season 2 is going to be even better!
Producer Josephine Campbell recently talked with Superman Homepage about the future of the animated series, and she used the opportunity to really hype it up! She said:
“Stay tuned for Season 2. We got the wonderful task of being able to make them both around the same time and I’m very excited. There’s so much stuff in Season 2 that I think is going to blow people’s minds so just stay tuned! Keep watching!”
The series is described as “a serialized coming-of-age story catching up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.”
The story follows Clark “as he builds his secret identity as Superman and explores his own mysterious origins. Lois, on her way to becoming a star reporter, teams up with photographer Jimmy Olsen to break the stories that matter. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love… as Lois gets closer and closer to uncovering his secret identity! Our trio share adventures, take down bad guys, stumble over secrets, and discover what it means to be heroes in their own right.”
The Boys star Jack Quaid voices Superman, with Alice Lee as Lois and Ishmael Sahid as Jimmy. Did you enjoy watching the first season of the series?
