By now, we’ve all seen that Nest camera footage from outside Nancy Guthrie‘s home on the night she disappeared. A masked and armed person approached her home, then attempted to cover the camera with flowers. See it all:
Now, there is a brand new and haunting video — and it could be the SAME person!

A new video has circulated online showing a man lurking in the driveway of a home about 5 miles from Nancy’s home. It’s now on the FBI‘s radar, and for good reason!
According to online sleuths, the video was originally posted on the Ring Neighbors app on February 1. In the video, a man in jeans and a grey hoodie with two backpacks could be seen walking in someone’s driveway and going straight for a back gate. He attempts to open the gate to no luck. He then carries on down the street. It’s unclear what brand of backpacks he’s holding. Police have confirmed that the backpack seen in the video at Nancy’s was a Walmart Ozark Trail Hiker backpack.

But is it even possible that this is the same person?? Law enforcement revealed to TMZ on Thursday that the FBI is looking into this guy. The video was recorded on a Ring camera at 1:52 a.m. on February 1. He left that scene at 1:53 a.m.
According to The Pima County Sheriff’s Department‘s timeline of events, Nancy’s camera was disconnected at 1:47 a.m., but at 2:12 a.m., the camera software detected a person.
The Nest footage that was just released from her entryway didn’t include any timestamps, but sources connected to the investigation tell TMZ that the video was taken at 2:12 a.m. — meaning this person was who the device detected.
And if all that is correct, this new video was taken before Nancy was allegedly kidnapped, and it would’ve given the person — if it’s the same person — about 19 minutes to drive 5 miles to her house and put on the full disguise. Wow. Chilling, if this is all true.
The FBI confirmed to TMZ that they’re actively investigating the video as well as following up on other leads. We’ll see if anything comes from this. Fingers crossed they’re getting closer to some answers!
