Apple TV has shared the official trailer for Margo’s Got Money Troubles, the upcoming series adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel of the same name from A24. The first three episodes are scheduled to start streaming on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. It will then be followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 20, 2026.
“The series is a bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo, the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress and ex-pro wrestler, as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills, and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them,” reads the show’s official synopsis.

The video introduces its main cast, led by Emmy nominee Elle Fanning, Academy Award nominee Michelle Pfeiffer, Emmy Award winner Nick Offerman, and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman. They are also joined by Thaddea Graham, Greg Kinnear, Marcia Gay Harden, Michael Angarano, Lindsey Normington, Rico Nasty, and Michael Workéyè.
Margo’s Got Money Troubles is written and executive-produced by David E. Kelley, who previously worked with the streamer on the acclaimed series Presumed Innocent. The show is executive-produced by Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, and Brittany Kahan Ward for Lewellen Pictures; Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films; and Matthew Tinker for David E. Kelley Productions, along with Pfeiffer, Thorpe, Eva Anderson, Boo Killebrew, and Dearbhla Walsh. The latter is also part of the directing lineup, consisting of Kate Herron and Alice Seabright.
