It’s officially over for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
The 58-year-old actress has filed for divorce from the country star, 57, confirmed by Page Six, just one day after news broke that the couple had split after 19 years of marriage.
Court documents obtained by the publication show Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The date of separation is listed as “date of filing,” meaning Tuesday September 30, US time.
She is also seeking to be the “primary residential parent” for her and Urban’s two kids, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
A source previously told People that Kidman, 58, “didn’t want this,” and had been “fighting to save the marriage.”

Other sources have claimed that the couple have been living apart recently.
It’s reported Urban moved out of the family home in Nashville, with Kidman and their daughters remaining.
“What the sources are saying is that she is doing her best to keep stability while Keith is in a different home,” entertainment reporter Segun Oduolowu told Today on Tuesday.
The couple were last pictured publicly together three months ago.
Aussie actress Kidman, known for films including Moulin Rouge and Eyes Wide Shut, was seen beaming at her rock star husband as they took in a sports match in their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, in late June 2025.
The couple were there to watch the Los Angeles Football Club and Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

In June they also celebrated their anniversary.
At the time Kidman shared a post with her millions of followers to mark the occasion.
Underneath a sweet black and white photograph of the pair together, she wrote: “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️.”
The couple were married for 19 years.
