Nicole Kidman made a surprise appearance on the big screen in Nashville on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT).
Fans would have been used to seeing the Oscar winner at concerts in the country music city she calls home, having been married to musician Keith Urban for the past 19 years.
But since their shock split earlier this year, the Australian actress has only made a handful of public appearances and Sabrina Carpenter‘s Tennessee show was one of them.

Kidman was Carpenter’s “Juno girl” during the show, joining a long line of celebrities who have been “arrested” by the pop star during her Short n’ Sweet tour in the US.
Kidman wore a red tee and jeans, paired with her newly platinum blonde locks and fringe.
When asked by Carpenter where she was from, the Sydney gal who was actually born in Hawaii said “Nashville” before clarifying.
“Nashville… but originally from Australia,” she told the singer, who pretended to not know who the A-lister in the crowd was.

Continuing with her bit, the 26-year-old said: “I guess that means, if things work out between us, I’m moving to Nashville.”
Newly single Kidman, 58, at first blushed but played along with a giggle said “come on” before Carpenter dedicated the song Juno to her.
Later, the actress took to social media to thank the singer and referred back to the on-stage joke.
“Thank you @SabrinaCarpenter for arresting me,” Kidman captioned a clip.
“Call me when you move to Nashville,” she added with a wink emoji.

It’s not known if Kidman and Urban’s two daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret were with their famous mum at the show.
In recent weeks Drew Barrymore, Gigi Hadid and Anne Hathaway have been among the stars popping up in this section of the singer’s show to be “arrested” for their beauty.
At previous shows Millie Bobby Brown, Margaret Qualley, Emma Bunton, Salma Hayek and Ayo Edebiri have also been stopped and handed fluffy pink handcuffs.
