And in E! Information’ unique sneak peek at Night time Courtroom‘s Feb. 14 episode, flattery is precisely what it takes to get John Larroquette‘s Dan Fielding on board with serving to Abby Stone (Melissa Rauch) present a bunch of children a typical day-in-the-life working within the justice system.
As Abby helps bailiff Donna “Gurgs” Gurganous (Lacretta) give her tween nephew and his schoolmates a tour, she assigns one of many children, Carlos (Antonio Raul Corbo), to be Dan’s “justice buddy” for the day, a lot to Dan’s displeasure.
“Mr. Fielding, would you want to fulfill your justice buddy?” Abby asks her co-worker within the preview, to which he unenthusiastically responds, “I reject the premise that I’ve a ‘justice buddy.'”
Seeing that Dan is a troublesome cookie to crack, Carlos decides complimenting him is one of the simplest ways to alter his thoughts. “Mr. Fielding, it would be my honor to work with you,” he says, catching Dan’s consideration. “What you do as a Public Defender is so noble. And should I say, sir, you might be one of many true heroes.”
