Nintendo is further expanding the Super Mario brand with a new line of products being marketed to parents with young children. Products in the My Mario series include: a Wood Block Set (work as amiibo), Board Book, a free app for Switch/Mobile where you can play with Mario’s face, visual content such as the upcoming “It’s Me, Mario!” stop motion shorts, apparel, general goods, and plush toys. Starting August 26, 2025, the first wave will be available at Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO. For those outside Japan, select My Mario products will also be released in other countries in 2026.

Wood Block Set
Characters such as Mario and Luigi, along with well-known items from the Super Mario series will be available as wooden blocks. These pieces are all made in sizes and weights that are easy for young children to hold and play with. Each character blocks can also be used as an amiibo figure of the relevant character in compatible games.

Board Book
Hello, Mario! is a board book that parents and children can enjoy together one page at a time, opening Mario’s mouth, or turning his face around. The book will be available at local bookstores as well as Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO.

App (smart device app and Switch software)
A free smart device app and Nintendo Switch software that children can play intuitively by pulling Mario’s face, or turning it around and around on the screen. Mario will react in various ways based on the player’s input, allowing parents and young children to play together and enjoy each reaction they see. iOS 15 or Android 6.0 or later is required to play the smart device app.
Visual content
In this series of stop motion short videos, Mario shows a variety of expressions and movements. Each video is approximately one minute long so that young children can enjoy them. The videos are planned to be released on the My Mario official website and other channels.
