One of the various third-party video gaming companies that has had success on the Nintendo Switch is Square Enix. The company has released a lot of games on Nintendo’s hybrid console that span multiple franchises. Among those games are Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II, which released in 2018 and 2023, respectively.
Well, Square Enix has provided an update on how well the Octopath Traveler series has been doing in the 6 years that have passed since the first game released. According to Square Enix, the series has now reached 4,000,000 copies sold worldwide as of June 2023. This sales number includes both “shipments and downloads”. The Octopath Traveler games are now available on PC and all currentl consoles.
