It’s not every day a pop star announces your unborn baby’s gender on stage to thousands.
But this was the case for one lucky fan who attended Olivia Rodrigo‘s Atlanta show.
Rodrigo, who is bringing her Guts World Tour to Australia in October, paused her show to announce the gender of one concertgoer’s baby.

The Vampire singer shared a video captured of the wholesome moment to her Instagram story on Thursday AEDT.
“Maybe my favorite thing to ever happen at a show omg,” Rodrigo captioned the clip.
The heartwarming exchange happened after the fan, named Savannah, held up a sign in the crowd reading: “Olivia, will you do my gender reveal?”
The pop star was quick to accept, reading the gender off of a piece of paper.

“Do we think that Savannah’s having a boy or a girl?” Rodrigo asked the audience, admitting she had butterflies in her stomach before opening the folded paper.
“Savannah, you’re having a boy!” the Brutal singer announced to cheers from the crowd.

In the full video posted to X (formerly Twitter) by the State Farm Arena venue, Rodrigo gushed about being involved in the fan’s special moment.
“I’m gonna cry. I can’t believe I was a part of that,” she said.
“Oh my god, congratulations. I’m emotional, I think that was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.”
The special fan interaction comes just months before the singer is set to tour her wildly popular second album Guts in Australia.

Rodrigo announced in March she will be coming Down Under to play now sold out shows in both Sydney and Melbourne.
The Aussie shows will kick off on Monday October 14 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, marking the first Australia and Asia tour for the hitmaker.
Rodrigo skyrocketed to fame after the release of her Grammy award winning album Sour in 2021, which included her hit tracks Drivers License, Deja Vu and Good 4 U.
