Olivia Rodrigo’s shows are an event. Beyond handing out free Plan B and condoms earlier this year, her songs offer catharsis to young women who are in the midst of finding themselves. As part of her GUTS world tour, she stopped by Madison Square Garden in NYC for four consecutive nights, inciting screeches and tears at each one. Her final performance in the city last night was a wholly memorable affair, including scream competitions, glitzy outfits from fans, and bringing out Jewel to sing her 1995 cut “You Were Meant For Me,” toward the end of the show.
