Marvel’s The Fantastic Four cast has come together for the first time, marking a significant step as production ramps up on the comic book giant’s latest tentpole. Pedro Pascal, part of the ensemble, took to Instagram to share a photo of the core group, captioning it with, “Our first mission together.”

With production set to begin in late July, the cast of The Fantastic Four has assembled in London, ready to start shooting. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that filming would commence shortly after San Diego Comic-Con, aligning with the timing of Pascal’s post.

The photo and its accompanying message reinforce the hype surrounding the Kevin Feige-produced reboot of The Fantastic Four under the Marvel Studios banner. As the cast embarks on what is hinted to be the first of several cinematic adventures, Fantastic Four fans are eager to see how this new iteration of the team will integrate into the broader MCU.

Is a first look at the Fantastic Four coming at San Diego Comic-Con?

As San Diego Comic-Con kicks off this week, Marvel fans may be in for a treat with potential teasers related to The Fantastic Four. While the studio is expected to showcase upcoming movies like Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts, the timing of Pedro Pascal’s recent Instagram post with the Fantastic Four cast suggests that Marvel could also spotlight its newest superhero ensemble.

The Fantastic Four characters were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, with the team making its first comic book appearance in 1961. The previous Fantastic Four movies, while popular, were not well-received by fans or critics, and Marvel Studios has an opportunity to right the wrongs of the past and deliver a feature that is true to the spirit of the comics.

Behind the scenes, The Fantastic Four will be brought to life under the direction of Matt Shakman, with Josh Friedman writing the screenplay. With production slated to begin in summer 2024, Marvel fans can look forward to the film’s journey to theaters in July 2025, marking a new chapter in the MCU.

The Fantastic Four opens on July 25, 2025. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
