Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are dealing with a huge friendship breakup!
As you most likely know, some of the 41-year-old and the 38-year-old prince’s longtime good friends have been David and Victoria Beckham. They were even guests at their wedding in 2018. However, there have been rumblings that the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes’ friendship with the Beckhams was “damaged” since last year. And there have been some signs from the couples to support these claims!
Meghan and Harry noticeably weren’t guests at David and Victoria’s son Brooklyn Beckham’s nuptials to Nicola Peltz in April of 2022. Neither of them was spotted at a major event last week – Lionel Messi‘s debut for David’s Inter Miami football team. There were several celebrities at the game, including Kim Kardashian and Serena Williams, but Harry and Meghan were nowhere to be found. That’s pretty telling if you ask us!

Of course, none of them have spoken out about the rumors. But now, sources for Dailymail.com have come forward to reveal that Meghan and Harry’s friendship with Victoria and David is officially “over!” Oof. The reason the foursome are no longer pals? Well, it all stems from what caused some serious damage to their relationship in the first place. As the outlet pointed out, Meghan and Harry allegedly accused their pals of leaking stories about them to the press during an intense phone call!
An insider close to the Beckhams said the 48-year-old former footballer was “absolutely bloody furious” by the accusation, especially since he and Posh Spice “went to Meghan and Harry’s wedding and were very supportive when Meghan arrived in the UK.” And now, their friendship is fractured beyond repair! The source added:
“Any making up now is so unlikely.”
If they’re upset about the allegation, then they’ll hate this next part! Meghan doesn’t seem to be down about the friendship breakup. In fact, she’s already replaced David and Victoria – ironically with another Victoria! According to Dailymail.com, the former actress has become “extremely close” with her and Harry’s neighbor in Montecito, Victoria Jackson. A source said:
“Victoria is a dynamic force. She’s someone who built a business but has also overcome adversity in her private life. She and Meghan bond on many levels. They are extremely close, they adore each other.”
Jackson, whose hubby Bill Guthy led the makeup brands launched by Jennifer Lopez and Cindy Crawford, runs a huge charity organization called the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation to raise money to help those with the autoimmune disorder Neuromyelitis Optica. Given her success with the foundation, Meghan has turned to Jackson for guidance with Archewell:
“Victoria knows all about building a brand but also about giving back. She’s advising Meghan on many levels.”
And that’s not her only friend! Gloria Steinem, designer Misha Nonoo, Lindsay Roth, Oprah Winfrey, and Gayle King are still “tight” with Meghan. But the Suits alum also has formed new connections with hair stylist, Amanda Leone, the head of William Morris Endeavor Ari Emanuel, and his wife, fashion designer Sarah Staudinger. A Hollywood agent claimed to the outlet:
“Ari and his wife are part of Meghan’s new friendship group. Meghan has a close-knit circle of friends who are very protective of her.”
Innerestly enough, two celebs who’ve been removed from her inner circle along with the Beckhams? Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. An insider from El Lay explained:
“Katy was close at one point but she has been travelling a lot so it’s been hard to sustain a close friendship. Katy performed at King Charles’ coronation concert, so perhaps she’s taken sides?”
Considering the royal family feud, that must have been a tad awkward to sustain a friendship with Meghan after the coronation…
