RHOA Kandi Burruss Suggests Kim Zolciak Faked Beef for Camera

Kandi Burruss spoke of her supposed beef with Kim Zolciak on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, claiming the returning cast member seemed to create a fake feud for The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

While discussing Kim, 45, her recent reconciliation with Kroy Biermann, 37, and her singing talent, Kandi, 47, also shared her thoughts on the cheating rumors about Drew Sidora, 38, her ongoing drama with Marlo Hampton, 47, and revealed whether the current love interest of Sheree Whitfield, 53, is an upgrade from her last.

On the July 23 episode of the WWHL: After Show, Kandi was asked if Martell Holt, 41, is a better choice than Tyrone Gilliams.

“He’s definitely an upgrade, I guess,” Kandi stated. “I mean, Martell is a nice-looking guy and then, you know, he has it together but not together when it comes to relationships because online you see the things and the drama that he’s been involved with with his past relationships. I don’t wanna get too far into that so I don’t think Sheree should take it seriously but hey, maybe he changes for her.”

Meanwhile, on the live broadcast of WWHL, Kandi revealed if she believes LaTocha Scott will rejoin Xscape after her messy family feud earlier this year.

“I think they have to work on their family dynamic first,” Kandi replied. “Let [LaTocha and Tamika Scott] get together, they figure it out and then we’ll talk about that then.”

She was then asked about being too busy for RHOA events.

“I was very busy. I don’t know what else to say,” Kandi admitted. “My group was touring a lot at the time and it was a lot of events I had to be at. I’m sorry.”

As for her drama with Marlo, who felt Kandi should’ve sent flowers after the death of her nephew, who previously worked with Kandi, Kandi said that she felt Marlo was using the topic for “a moment.”

“I asked her, ‘How is he doing? What happened?’ And then they showed the clip, she and I clearly had a conversation about it and how I was concerned. I don’t know what she wanted from me,” Kandi noted. “Two years later, why are you bringing it up if you haven’t said anything in all that time. I just think she wanted a moment.”

“She wanted people to dislike me. I don’t know what this thing is right now that she wants everybody to dislike me,” Kandi added.

In the midseason trailer for the remaining episodes of RHOA season 15, Drew was seen facing rumors of a potential romance with Tamera “Ty” Young, a former WNBA player.

“[The rumor] was with someone who came to set, a friend of ours … You’re talking about Ty. Shout out to Ty. Hey girl. But no, that’s a friend of ours. She’s actually an athlete. She’s a basketball player,” Kandi said, clarifying that she’s “[staying] out of” the drama.

“When I heard about the divorce, I did not realize that was happening because I had just saw them out together so I didn’t think anything was wrong. So I was shocked about that. And then I was kinda shocked about that being the reason. And I just didn’t get into it. It’s best to stay out of it,” she continued.

Moving on to Kim, Kandi was asked to rank her singing ability from 1 to 10.

“Can we get a zero? No just kidding. A one!” she declared.

Then, after saying she’s “happy that [Kim and Kroy] decided to stay together,” Kandi fired back at Kim’s suggestion regarding their “beef.”

“Girl, we don’t have a beef. The last time I saw her she was extremely nice and she was acting like I was coming up to her, she was saying, ‘Oh girl, that was so long ago,’” Kandi revealed. “She was saying that to me and I was glad to reciprocate cause I don’t have a wish to keep that going. So I didn’t understand when she got on the show and was like, ‘The beef.’ That’s not how you was acting when I saw you. Keep that same energy.”
