Brittany “Brit” Eady appeared on Sunday’s Watch What Happens Live, where she spoke of her feud with her now-ex-co-star, Kenya Moore, and shaded a few of the other ladies on the show.
As she named Drew Sidora, 39, as the cast member who should be put on “pause,” suggested Angela Oakley is a flip-flopper, and called Shamea Morton, 42, a “liar,” the 37-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie revealed that Kenya had something against her from day one.
“I think people don’t realize, or even the ladies in our friend group, she had something against me since day one,” Brit explained on the April 13 episode of WWHL. “I think there was something that was brewing that, there was a reason she didn’t like me. I feel like she was holding on… she didn’t say anything, but the fact that she was so welcoming and so nice to ladies she’d never met, and for me, I’d never met Kenya. So I was like, ‘Why me? Why are you being nasty towards me?’”
After host Andy Cohen, 56, suggested she came in hot with Kenya, 54, he asked her if she had a gun on the night of their argument.
“I, oh my God, I never had a gun ever. I never had a gun in my possession at all,” she replied.
While Brit claimed to have been “triggered” by Kenya, she did regret her reaction.
“I still beat myself up, just the fact that I allowed her to trigger me. There’s no excuse for what I did, for what I said. It was the heat of the moment. I’m in a rough neighborhood. I’m always used to having my husband by my side, and I felt attacked,” she explained. “I was talking to [Kelli Ferrell] on the side, you know how girls hype each other up or whatever, and it was a side convo. I was talking with Kelli, and I mentioned a pistol, which I never should have, and I was wrong.”
When a fan wanted to know why Brit denied threatening Kenya with a weapon but later apologized, asking if she forgot, Brit insisted she was not threatening Kenya.
“I didn’t forget. It wasn’t a threat. What I said was inappropriate, but it wasn’t a threat,” she clarified.
Looking back, Brit said she felt she was “targeted” by Kenya.
“She wanted to trigger me. She wanted me to do something nasty. She wanted me to react, and because I left before all of that happened, she didn’t get the reaction she wanted, and she planned her own funeral,” she explained of Kenya’s decision to show explicit images of her.
As for how she would have reacted had she not left Kenya’s event early and seen her presentation, Brit said she felt Kenya wanted her to be present.
“She wanted me to be at that event, considering she never uninvited me and the fact that she conjured up these images, photos, printed them out,” she noted.
After watching the cast’s reaction to Kenya’s display play out, Brit stated that there was no room for anyone to defend the behavior.
“No matter how much they’ve been a friend of Kenya for years, they knew in that moment that there was nothing they could say to say that this was okay. They immediately knew it was wrong, and so they all walked out,” she explained.
As RHOA fans will recall, Brit actually showed up to Kenya’s hair salon with an olive branch in tow: A bouquet of flowers and a car.
“I had a personal conversation in the card just saying, ‘Kenya, I’m sorry. I wish I would’ve never done it, and let’s try to move forward.’ So that’s just really it. I wanted her to know how genuine I was because I made a mistake, and I wanted her to really know that I’m not a violent person,” she shared.
Moving on to the rest of the cast, Brit reacted to Angela saying she came with negative energy toward her to brunch.
“It really hurt me because I thought Angela was someone who was open to hearing the truth, and I felt she was just flip-flopping,” Brit shared.
She then noted that when it comes to her insurance license, she was investigated and now, “I’m good to go.”
As Drew and Dennis continue to be seen together on camera, Brit admitted she doesn’t trust Dennis’ intentions after being asked if she thought they were hooking up.
“I wouldn’t trust Dennis. I think Dennis has something out for Porsha, and if she doesn’t want you filming with Drew, you should respect it,” Brit stated.
Then, after shading Kelli’s waffles as “soggy” and “lukewarm” and giving them a five out of 10 rating, Brit revealed who should be on pause.
“I would have to say Drew. Yeah, you know what… her album was good. I checked it out. I just, I feel like she’s kind of boring to me,” she admitted.
Also on the live broadcast, after saying three nice things about Angela, including, “She’s obsessed with her husband,” “her wig sometimes looks good,” and she’s “a good person at heart,” Brit was asked to do the same about the rest of the cast.
“I love that Porsha stands in her truth,” Brit revealed, proceeding to call Drew a “good actress” and Shamea a “good liar.”
Brit then applauded Angela for her love of her husband, Charles Oakley, 61, and admitted, “I like Angela. I do.”
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Brit was asked if she’d spoken to any other Real Housewives, and if they’d given her advice.
“I haven’t got a lot of advice yet, but I will say [Mia Thornton] did reach out, via DM, and I thought that was pretty nice,” she revealed.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
