Kelly Dodd called out Dr. Dhivya Srinivasa on Instagram on Friday, accusing the surgeon of bullying and harassing her and shutting down her ShopMy account.
Months into their social media feud, the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum tagged Meta as she suggested Dr. Dhivya had violated their guidelines by continuing to come for her in videos and encouraging her online audience to do the same.
“Hey [Meta] since your guidelines clearly state ‘Targeted harassment is prohibited’ and that ‘Repeated unwanted contact may be considered harassment’ and ‘Coordinated bullying is prohibited’, why would you allow [Dr. Dhivya Srinivasa] to continue to harass and bully me along with her minions? And ShopMy what this woman is accusing me of doing is exactly what SHE’S doing. It’s disgusting and disturbing and it needs to stop,” Kelly demanded in a caption to a video shared on Instagram on July 3, adding hashtags for ShopMy, Meta, and Bullying Harassment.
Then, in her video, Kelly began, “Good morning. This lady, this doctor. I cannot pronounce her name. It doesn’t make me racist. This doctor has been continuously bullying and harassing me and everyone knows it. Right here, she records every single one of my lives and attacks me. She says that I’m going against community guidelines. I’m not bothering this woman. I put a cease and desist on her. I’m not recording her lives, going after her brands, going after ShopMy. Right here, black and white, I’m going to show you what community guidelines here is.”
Kelly then signaled Meta and ShopMy’s guidelines, which prohibited users from targeted harassment, repeated unwanted contact, and coordinated bullying.
“I have not done this with this lady. She continues to record my lives and come after me. You can look on her Instagram and see it,” she continued. “She’s getting her minions to come after me and bully and harass me. This is called torturous interference when they come after my brand deals, and this is exactly what she is doing.”
“So what this woman is accusing me of, she’s doing it back and white. All you have to do is look at her Instagram and look at what she’s doing with the ShopMy,” Kelly added.
Along with her video, Kelly included a screenshot of a video shared by Dr. Dhivya.
“This racist megaphone is bragging about how she is a ‘paid influencer’ by [Wayfair] but I can tell you they are paying her through [ShopMy] … So [ShopMy] – Do you like to platform creators like this … you have community guidelines?” she had written in the caption.
Following the posting of Kelly’s video, Dr. Dhivya shared a clip of her own as she reacted to Kelly telling one of her followers that she “shut down my ShopMy for no reason.”
“I know you’re mad ShopMy dropped you. Here’s the thing: You actually have no one to blame but yourself because the video that I posted, I actually didn’t have to say anything. I literally just stitched together your own words,” she explained. “When I tag ShopMy, I’m not telling them what to do. I’m not lying. I’m showing them what you’ve put out there and they choose to respond, and if they’re saying that you violated their terms and conditions, well that’s between you and them. And again, none of it is based on lies. It’s based on videos of literally just you speaking.
According to Dr. Dhivya, Kelly talks about her “almost every single day,” and while she ignores it “90 percent of the time,” she feels a responsibility to speak up when Kelly makes “horrendous Islamophobic comments.”
“I don’t think that I’m ever going to change how racist you are. Your Islamophobia, transphobia, homophobia, that is deeply seeded into the core of your being in a way no exorcism can extract. But I do want you to watch what you say out loud,” she went on. “Our words have impact. Our actions have consequences. So don’t you dare come on the internet and tell the world that because someone is Muslim, you think they are beaten by their husbands, especially don’t do that when you have this history. My platform doesn’t depend on a reality stint from the early 2000s.”
“This isn’t about me. But it is about how you treat others. I’m not worried about me. But I am worried about my gay, trans, and melanated friends. People like you definitely don’t deserve commission from ShopMy,” she concluded.
