Lisa Barlow appeared on a recent Watch What Happens Live episode where she looked back on the apology she got from Heather Gay in regard to their drama on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
After Heather, 52, seemingly staged a number of unprovoked attacks against Lisa, the 51-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star explained why she accepted Heather’s apology, detailed an off-camera discussion she had with Whitney Rose, 39, amid season seven, and reacted to Robert Cosby Jr.‘s homegoing service, while also addressing Meredith Marks‘ facelift, Britani Bateman‘s relationship with Jared Osmond, 55, and more.
“I took [Heather’s] apology because after what happened with Robert Jr., I just wanted, like, reprieve and peace, and you know, you’ll see as the season goes on, there’s some other bumps in the road, but for me at that point I’m just like, you know what, I had the best time on Girls Trip,” Lisa reasoned on WWHL.
Then, after saying that Heather’s new boyfriend, Tripp, “is so nice” but not necessarily “sexy,” like her husband, John Barlow, 50, Lisa addressed Whitney’s apology, admitting that she had a “soft spot” for her.
“I think it was a start. There’s so much you guys didn’t get to see because the conversation was much more direct, and I told Whitney like, ‘I’m out of grace right now. Like, this is it for me,’” she shared of what she told her co-star off-camera. “We agreed to finish the conversation, which hopefully you guys see later … because a lot had to be dealt with.”
Looking back on the homegoing service Mary Cosby, 53, hosted for her late son, who died in February after a drug overdose, Lisa said it was the “most impactful service” she’d ever attended.
“Grief is really hard for people. [But] they turned it into a celebration of his life,” she explained. “It was the best homecoming. Watching [Robert Cosby Sr.] and Mary together, which no one ever gets to see, they are in love. They are happy. And they’re a rock for each other. It was amazing.”
Regarding Meredith’s facelift, Lisa clarified, “I don’t think she needed to do anything. She was so beautiful before, stunning still.”
She then said that despite Britani’s claims, she is not done with Jared.
“I just ran into Jared, and he’s fully with her,” she revealed.
Lisa also commented on Bronwyn Newport‘s love life, admitting that she hadn’t “been paying attention” before describing her former flame, Brandon Good, 32, as “adorable” and “cute.”
“I thought he was the nicest person,” she shared.
Then, after shading Angie Katsanevas‘ hair, saying that it was a “six” and not even her real hair, Lisa was asked if she found it odd that Ashley Quai‘s husband was always in Florida working, and that Ashley didn’t know what he was doing.
“Ashley is smart. She’s in marketing. I think that he retired from one job and doing some other things that she probably just doesn’t want to talk about, yeah, privacy for the business,” she suspected.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Lisa was asked if she regretted sharing her happy photo with John after the announcement regarding Whitney and Angie’s splits from Justin Rose, 58, and Shawn Trujillo, 55, respectively.
“It had nothing to do with anyone on my cast. John and I are business partners, so if you notice there’s tequila in the picture, it was about our business, and John’s my partner in life. My partner in business. My partner in parenting, everything. So for me, it was just a post. It didn’t even come into mind. I think when they saw other stuff on the internet, then it made them think it was about them, but it had nothing to do with my post,” she insisted.
