The form-shifting Transformers are again … and dealing with off towards a complete new menace.
The primary trailer for “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” dropped on-line Thursday, after its massive debut at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil this morning.
“Returning to the motion and spectacle which have captured moviegoers world wide, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ’90s globetrotting journey with the Autobots and introduce a complete new breed of Transformer – the Maximals – to the prevailing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons,” reads a press launch from Paramount Photos.
The footage exhibits off our beloved Autobots and chief Optimus Prime assembly Maximals chief Optimus Primal, voiced by Ron Perlman. Whereas Primal appears like a large gorilla, others on his crew can remodel into huge metallic cheetahs, rhinos and a falcon. “You have by no means confronted something like this,” Primal warns Optimus within the clip, earlier than they each face off towards one other evil Transformers faction.
The film is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and stars each Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback. It hits theaters June 9, 2023.
