Legendary actor Robert De Niro has just confirmed that he will be joining Paisans for Kamala Sunday Sauce Kickoff on Sunday, September 8th at 6 PM ET. The event is being organized by the Italian American Democrats with the aim of mobilizing support for the Harris-Walz ticket.
This isn’t your typical organizing call—it’s a virtual family dinner, inspired by Kamala Harris’s own tradition of Sunday dinners. At this virtual dinner table, you’ll hear from some of the most prominent Italian American figures, including Robert De Niro, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Marisa Tomei, Steve Buscemi, John Turturro, Alyssa Milano, Lisa Ann Walter, Anthony Scaramucci, Rosa DeLauro, and Jim Messina. Not only will they discuss why they’re doing everything possible to make sure Kamala Harris is the next president, but they’ll also share their favorite family recipes, traditions, and what makes their heritage so important.
With Trump’s divisive rhetoric continuing to fracture the political discourse, this event is about celebrating the values that unite us as immigrants, children of immigrants, and families.
