More Artist Friendly is on the way. Following conversations with Oliver Niño, Jon Bon Jovi, and Huddy, Ryan Key of Yellowcard will join Joel Madden on the latest episode of the series.
This October, Yellowcard returned with Better Days, their first full-length in nearly a decade, produced by Travis Barker. “This [album] brought us into the room with nothing to start with. Just a fresh day, fresh minds, fresh idea,” Key said in the band’s AP cover story interview, reveling in newfound confidence. In a conversation between two longtime peers, Key reflects on the journey that brought Yellowcard back together. He and Madden dive into healing old wounds, rebuilding trust, and navigating fame, as well as burnout, fatherhood, and self-discovery. Key also shares how a life-changing moment in the studio with Barker reshaped everything.
