Letterpress printing is one of the oldest forms of relief printing. Plates are created from the artwork features a raised surface, like a stamp. Ink is then applied to the raised surface, and the paper is pressed against the surface to transfer the artwork onto the paper leaving an elegant and tactile impression of the art.
