Chase Atlantic are having a massive year. Beyond selling out shows across the pond, the former AP cover stars continue to “keep changing, evolving, and growing,” in the words of their frontman Mitchel Cave. “We released our last album during the pandemic, so we haven’t been able to see its real-world success. The last shows we played here in the U.K. were 10% of the size now — and the same in Australia,” Christian Anthony told AP earlier this year.
More than anything, Chase Atlantic thrive onstage. Following an explosive performance at Reading & Leads in August, the alternative trio appeared at Lollapalooza Berlin earlier today. During the show, the band pulled out plenty of beloved songs (“Friends,” “OHMAMI,” “SWIM”), as well as newer cuts (“BEAUTY IN DEATH,” “PARANOID”), that celebrated where they’ve been and where they’re headed.
