Being ‘Realistic’
Following her disastrous visit to Virginia, Carrie opened up to Charlotte about how her and Aidan’s relationship was progressing. “To be honest, it’s kind of a relief to not be thinking about what I should be doing every day about it. It’s out of my hands,” Carrie admitted in a June 2025 episode.
When Charlotte teased that she would never be able to have that mindset, Carrie added, “I’m just being more realistic, less romantic.” She assured Charlotte, however, that there was still plenty of romance.
“It’s just living under the reality,” Carrie continued. “We love each other very much, but he can’t be my everyday fella right now, so I just have to give up the expectation of a big romantic, music swell resolution.”
