Sharon Osbourne shared the details of the night her husband Ozzy Osbourne died.
Opening up on Piers Morgan’s show Uncensored, the 73-year-old said the rocker, 76, kept getting up throughout the night, finally waking his wife at 4:30am.
“I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up’,” recalled Sharon, “and he said, ‘Kiss me’, and then he said, ‘Hug me tight’.

“I can’t help wondering if I should have, could I have? If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter.”
Sharon said he then went to their mansion’s gym and began to work out, with the Black Sabbath frontman usually completing 90 minutes on the cross trainer every day despite battling a number of illnesses at the time, including pneumonia and sepsis.
Twenty minutes later, her husband had died.

Sharon woke to yelling, running downstairs to find people trying to resuscitate her husband.
She told them, “Don’t – just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone.” Her husband was then taken to hospital by helicopter, but he was unable to be revived.
The rocker’s official cause of death, revealed in his death certificate after his funeral, was listed as a heart attack.
The singer also had coronary artery disease in addition to suffering from Parkinson’s disease for years, his death certificate said. Osbourne died on July 22, 2025.
The Osbournes have been sharing their grief publicly, with the famous family recently sharing a ray of hope.
Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Osbourne, are expecting their second baby together – his fifth – and the couple were able to share the news with his family, including Ozzy, before his death.
The 40-year-old revealed it’s been a nice distraction for everyone in the wake of Ozzy’s passing and has brought some healing to the family.
“It’s awesome,” Jack told The Sun on Sunday, “I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing – probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way.”
Aree is 28 weeks pregnant, and Jack had shared the news with Ozzy that he was going to be a grandfather again over the UK summer, before his death at 76 in July.
“It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness. It’s been easy for me – I think it’s been a lot harder for my wife!” he added.
