People close to Shia LaBeouf are getting really concerned about him after his New Orleans Mardi Gras arrest.
As you know, the actor was busted last month for a fight on Bourbon Street after being kicked out of a bar. He was released almost immediately, but the judge recently ordered him to pay a $100,000 bond and check into rehab. Amid all this, his close pals are starting to worry about him more than before — and they think if he doesn’t step up to the plate and get sober, there will be dire consequences…
On Sunday, one source told PageSix that Shia is a “master manipulator” when it comes to his “recovery”:
“He’s just so good at convincing people and potential partners; they all fall for it. He’s so convincing when he says, ‘I’ve been in recovery, I’m making amends, I’m flawed — I had this terrible childhood and this terrible past.’”

Another insider that’s close to the Holes actor is very concerned, suggesting that if he doesn’t get help soon, this could all end in tragedy:
“This guy has got to find a way to get sober or die; eventually this is all going to a tragic ending. His behavior sounds like an addict. It’s just sad that someone with so much to live for continually puts himself at risk.”
Despite this, a legal source told the outlet his court-required rehab could end up being a “celebrity punishment” where he only has to enroll online, and not actually do any real rehabbing. Ugh.
