Siiickbrain is preparing to unleash a lot more music this year.
Today, she shared her new single, “Die Quietly,” which comes with a music video that AP is exclusively premiering. Following collaborations with Skrillex, WILLOW, and Maggie Lindemann, the track peels back another layer of the alternative artist and comes from her upcoming debut album that arrives this fall.

“Die Quietly” slips into a head-nodding beat as Siiickbrain sings of the debilitating feeling that consumes her when she experiences anxiety. The cut is a departure from her screamo blasts, opting for an approach that mesmerizes rather than pummels and puts greater emphasis on her lyrics. Meanwhile, the visual takes place at the Orange County County Fair as she hangs out in skeleton makeup.
“‘Die Quietly’ is about the petrifying feeling of being taken over by a panic attack,” Siiickbrain tells AP. “Oftentimes during a panic attack, I feel like something is wrong physically — a feeling of impending doom, like I’m going to die. ‘Die Quietly’ alludes to the feeling of dealing with anxiety disorder while going about daily life.”
