Half a century ago, Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck began a legendary feud that now has been reignited with just a few words.
The It’s Not Unusual singer, 84, hit back when Humperdinck, 88, offered a truce, showing zero interest in reconciliation.
Speaking to The Sun, Jones slammed his fellow singer, saying: “There is nothing friendly about me and Engelbert because he is a p—k and you can quote me on that. We fell out years ago.”

The Voice coach then addressed the speculation surrounding his upcoming UK tour and whether Humperdinck will feature: “No. He has tried, but I don’t want to talk.”
The Sun then told Jones of some controversial remarks by Humperdinck, who shared that he felt the Welsh singer had “lost his voice… I don’t think he’s got it anymore.”

Jones retorted: “I didn’t know he said that – it is the first I have heard of it, but he is full of s–t.”
In 2015, their feud reached fever pitch when the Metro asked Jones if he would ever consider reconciling, to which he replied: “It’s as I say – once a c–t, always a c–t.”
The unsavoury comments against Humperdinck do not get to him, with the Release Me singer telling The Mirror: “It doesn’t bother me – the only person it hurts is himself.”

”If you can’t say anything good about someone, don’t say anything,” he said.
The pair have been at odds for decades, though at one point they shared the same manager, were both signed to Decca Records and appeared on the TV pilot for Humperdinck’s show in 1969.
Despite their very public dislike for one another, the root cause of their disagreement remains unknown.
