Janelle Brown and Kody Brown were in a polygamous relationship on Sister Wives, and they share six children together – four sons and two daughters. The two began their spiritual marriage in January 1993, and Janelle was Kody’s second wife following Meri Brown, who Kody legally married in 1990. In 2022, Janelle decided to leave Kody, and they separated after being together for 30 years. She followed her fellow sister wife Christine Brown, who also split from Kody in November 2021.
After leaving Kody, Janelle lived in a rental home before moving into a trailer on Coyote Pass in 2021. She then bought a larger home in Flagstaff, Arizona, and moved to another apartment afterward, but is now back in her RV. Janelle and Kody’s six children are older now, but most of them still live in Flagstaff. Logan Brown is Janelle and Kody’s oldest child, followed by Maddie Brown, Hunter Brown, Garrison Brown, Gabriel Brown, and Savanah Brown.

Logan is 29 years old and was born on May 21, 1994. He grew up in Utah, but moved to Nevada with the rest of the Brown family. Logan went to college at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. According to Logan‘s LinkedIn, he currently works as a Manager of Corporate Development at a startup company in Nevada. Logan got engaged to his girlfriend Michelle Petty in 2017, and they tied the knot in Arizona in October 2022.
Madison Brown
She’s 27 Years Old
Madison is Janelle and Kody’s second child and was born on November 3, 1995, making her 27 years old. Like her brother Logan, Maddie also attended college, and went to Utah State University. However, she decided to drop out of college after her engagement to Caleb Brush, and they got married in June 2016.

Hunter is Janelle and Kody’s third-oldest child at 26 years old. He was born on February 9, 1997. Hunter attended the United States Air Force Academy and graduated in April 2020. Janelle and Kody’s son continued his education by going to nursing school in Baltimore, Maryland. In May 2022,
Hunter received a Master’s Degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
After graduating from nursing school, Hunter returned home to live closer to his family in Arizona for the summer, which made Janelle very happy. Hunter has been dating his girlfriend Audrey Hubert for two years. Hunter received a Master’s Degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
Garrison Brown
He Passed Away At The Age Of 25
Robert Garrison Brown, known as “Garrison,” was born on April 10, 1998, and is 25 years old. He originally wanted to be in the Army, but Kody wouldn’t allow him to. Instead, Garrison joined the Nevada National Guard in October 2016 and did basic training in Georgia. During the pandemic, Garrison and his younger brother Gabriel refused to abide by Kody’s COVID-19 rules and moved out of the house.
In 2018, Garrison opened a clothing store called Bob’s Floral, where he sold Hawaiian shirts. He used to date a woman named Kylie Marshall.
Garrison passed away on March 5, 2024. His death was such a tragedy. Known as a caring son, friend, and landlord, he is dearly missed. Before his passing, he adopted a cat from a kill shelter – the feline’s name was Ms. Buttons. Before he died, Garrison was reportedly troubled. He may have lived with alcohol addiction and was having trouble with an ex.

Near the time of his death, Garrison participated in a group chat which included some members of the Sister Wives production team, but didn’t include his mother, Janelle. She found out about one of his comments in the chat, where he stated that he should resent the fact that many of his moments with the family ended up onscreen, but missed those days instead. While the remark was mild, Janelle’s maternal instinct kicked in, and she reached out to her son. Their final texts are featured in the Without A Crystal Ball Instagram post shown above.
In their last chat, Janelle told her son that she was thinking about him. He actually joked about the fact that she thought he had “suicidal tendencies.” At the time, the quip was probably reassuring to Janelle – if he was lighthearted enough to tell a joke, he was probably okay, right? Unfortunately, the chat soon took a disturbing turn. He said he was looking at old photos, but he didn’t even finish his sentence. It must have been awful when he stopped answering.
After his passing, Janelle honored her son in so many sweet ways. She clearly adored Garrison and would have done anything to save him. She sent her son Gabriel to check on him, and he found his body. Gabriel must be traumatized by the passing of his brother and the fact that he discovered the body. This family has been through so much – it’s terrible how they’ve suffered.
Now, Janelle is trying to heal. She says it’s been hard. Her latest venture is a business called Taeda Farms. She will sell flowers, and while the business is still ramping up, it seems to be making her happy. Happiness is something that she really deserves.
Gabriel Brown
He’s 21 Years Old
Janelle and Kody’s fifth child, Gabriel, who goes by the nickname “Gabe,” is 21 years old and was born on October 11, 2001. Gabe isn’t very close with Kody, and even brought up the fact that his father forgot about his birthday on an episode of Sister Wives, which has caused him to cut ties. Savanah Brown is Kody and Janelle’s youngest child and second daughter, and she’s 18 years old. Her birthday is on December 7, 2004, making her zodiac sign Sagittarius. Savanah shares a close bond with Janelle, and they participate in a lot of activities together. Janelle often posts photos of Savanah on her Instagram, whether she’s doing a puzzle, traveling to Sedona, or cooking a new recipe. Savanah graduated from high school in May 2023, but the Sister Wives star hasn’t shared anything about her future plans yet.
