Ashley Tisdale and Austin Butler have been greatest buddies for years, and now they’re one thing extra – tenth cousins as soon as eliminated.
The Excessive College Musical alum found in a brand new episode of Ancestry’s 2 Lies and a Leaf that she and her sister, Jennifer Tisdale, have been associated to the 31-year-old Elvis star this entire time.
“I believe my response on-camera says all of it … I could not imagine it, and I began to get emotional,” Tisdale, 37, instructed Us Weekly after the episode aired on Tuesday.
“We have had an instantaneous connection since we met, and we have been shut buddies for years. We even joked about being fraternal twins,” she continued.
Tisdale stated she texted Butler, who was her co-star in Sharpay’s Fabulous Journey, as quickly as she made the invention, and he replied “immediately” with: “NO F–KING WAY!”
Butler, in response to Tisdale, was “simply as shocked” by the revelation as she was.
”To know this entire time that we’re really cousins – it is simply so wild,” she stated.
The duo’s widespread ancestor is Englishman Richard Scruggs, who died in 1669.
